My writing moves between poetry, reflection, stories and running. Much of it begins with a simple question and follows it inward: What is enough? Who am I beyond thought? What does it mean to be present? Where does peace come from?
Reflections on life, thought and the self
These essays explore present-moment awareness, self-inquiry, acceptance, simplicity, purpose and the mind. They form the largest part of this site.
- Life is not thoughts — on observing thought and asking who we are beyond it.
- Be in the moment. Be here and now — on returning attention to the present.
- Life is in the pause — on the quiet space between thoughts.
- Acceptance is the key — on accepting the present and observing the mind.
- Timelessness — on time, change and the reality of now.
- Is there a goal in life — on meaning, goals and the search within.
