From 4th January till 15th January 2022, I attended Vipassana. The experience cannot be explained in words. I needed a break to look inside myself. I had earlier planned to do Vipassana in 2013 but I could not attend it despite getting the confirmation.
This time I made a point to attend the course before joining my next job. And I did that. I presented myself with this Vipassana Course on my birthday in January.
This is 10 day silence course, where Noble silence is practiced for all 10 days. Noble silence means that one doesn’t speak anything and also not look at anyone directly which will prevent any unnecessary thought to emerge. Cutting off from the day to day hustle bustle and keeping with oneself helps a lot in retrospection. This Vipassana means looking into one’s inner self, body sensations, and breath. One has to practice daily 10+ hours of meditation.
I would recommend everyone to do Vipassana at least once in a lifetime. This is not related to any religion.
