I was opening a Udemy video for a technical course after a long time (almost more than two months). My attention grabbed a thought which was just generated and was trying to go unnoticed, but I noticed it. The thought was “I should have finished it early and by this time the course would have been done and dusted.
It is better to notice these words coming in your mind. Once you notice these words, replace it with better ones like “This is the right time “. Subconsciously so many times the thought that I should have done it earlier has repeated in your mind for so many different tasks that it makes you guilty at times that you procrastinate work. With practice this can be replaced with “This is the right time” and will keep you at ease. What is the point in thinking about what has not happened.
